Role: Commercial Analyst

Location : Our office in Amsterdam North (the Curve building)

Your main goal: 

As our Commercial Analyst, your key objective is to analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and optimize our commercial activities. You will independently initiate projects and collaborate across departments to improve sales and business development processes, driving our company to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze financial and commercial data, including revenue, costs, margins, and sales performance, to identify actionable insights.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Sales, Operations, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to optimize systems, pricing strategies, and workflows.

  • Coordinate with Marketing agencies to enhance the B2B auction platform and support campaign performance analysis.

Process Improvement & Project Management

  • Apply your project management skills to oversee cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Independently identify improvement areas within processes and take the lead in implementing solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support negotiations with external partners and explore new commercial opportunities alongside the Commercial Director and Account Managers.

  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to address issues and maintain smooth operations.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team, which comprises three core areas: Sales B2C & B2B, Customer Service, and Business Development. Together, these teams are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer and partner satisfaction.

Job requirements

About you: 

  • You hold a bachelor or university degree in Business, Economics or Marketing or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Excel and a strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and solutions in complex data.

  • Experience with project management and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

  • A proactive, independent attitude with excellent problem-solving and motivational skills.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
